What is AME?

Arts, media, and entertainment (AME) career technical education (CTE) programs prepare high school students to enter California’s thriving creative economy. The California Department of Education established the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industry sector in 2005, and AME has grown to serve 231,000 students and become the largest CTE industry sector in the state of California.
